Thanks Mike! I’m so new to these antique stoves, I just realized the Vida is supposed to have legs….. It uses the dove tail type and I don’t suppose I would ever find any spares anywhere as likely everyone made their own unique molds.. I think I’ll just put it on a big flat rock the way it is, put some BTU’s in it over night. I ended up fabricating a 4th lower door with some steel plate and rotated it on the flue side. The hinge was broken off and the door missing, so didn’t have much choice. Anyone ever make a sand casting from another part?
Funny, when word gets out, my neighbor just gave me a “laundry heater” they were going to take to the dump. Nice piece of old iron. It is a REX 84.A
